Parties are always allot of fun to shoot as people are often dressed up and are always enjoying themselves. Typically I come to a party and shoot for 3 or 4 hours, and the brief is to capture people just having fun and being themselves. A fast turn around on the images is normally the key requirement as people love to see their images and post them on social media within 24/48 hours.
Capturing 16:9 (Hirizontal) and 9:16 (vertical) cantent for clients has become a massive part of what the business. Clients are craving short & sharp content to feed their socials and web, and we film and edit in-house to ensure that we are on brief and on budget every time. All video content is captured in 4K and can be supplied RAW or Fully Edited. Up to 3 cameras can be used for interview style contact using a full lighting rig for best results. Audio is captured either with multiple Rhode Lavielle mics, Rhode shotgun microphone or Zoom HN4 Pro recorder. For lifestyle/Location video we can capture 4K drone footage to incorporate maximum cinematic production quality and rolling video is shot on a Ronan Gimbal for super smooth footage.
Sporting Club/Dance School photography can range from shooting sporting teams out on the field, to capturing school concerts or setting up a studio on location and shooting beautiful portrait images. I currently take end of season team photos for many sporting clubs and have shot many end of year concerts for dance schools along the northern beaches. The parents absolutely love having high quality studio images of their children, and the respective clubs are able to use the images for their marketing.

Weddings are those extraordinary events that enable photographers to really shine. Guests are looking their absolute best and the groom is on his best behaviour. The bride is looking stunning and the location is perfect. What more can you ask for. Photographing a wedding for a couple is an honour and a privilege. My job as a photographer is to capture the key moments, but most importantly to capture the special moments that happen within the wedding. They are impromptu and cannot be planned. These are always the shots that the newlyweds love the most.
Being an avid foodie I love the sights, sounds and smells of a bustling restaurant. Capturing images of food as they come from the pass to tables, or capturing the staff greeting and serving customers can tell people allot out the vibe and quality of a restaurant, even before they read the reviews. The soul and essence of a restaurant should be able to be conveyed in 6-8 shots. We eat with our eyes….we also choose where to eat with our eyes. I would typically spend 3 – 4 hours at a restaurant, watching the flow between breakfast/lunch service or lunch/dinner service. This gives the client a broad range of food shots they can use for marketing, and also allows the staff time to relax and be natural with customer interactions.
